Yes! I used to get stuck a lot as a teen and would often have things go unfinished because of it. Revisiting writing much later, I put placeholders and move on. It keeps the flow going and sometimes, down the line, you can work out that missing detail without it feeling like an addition, but something that’s supposed to be there.
