One would think. Being “racist” in America somehow comes down to impoliteness and name-calling. Admitting that America is racist does not lift the curtain. We do not start talking about the manifestation of systemic racism. We circle around arguing semantics but not restorative justice. I don’t know how we’ll ever be able to do that.
